IRES Renews Ramadan Partnership with Jerusalem Shawarma

Alhamdulillah, today the Islamic Restoration Society (IRES) renewed our partnership with Jerusalem Shawarma in support of our upcoming Ramadan initiatives.

This Ramadan, insha’Allah, IRES is planning two important community events: a Fundraising Iftar in Edmonton and a Justice System Iftar in Calgary, bringing together community members and individuals affected by the criminal justice system.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Jerusalem Shawarma for their continued generosity and support. They have been a tremendous sponsor of IRES and our mission “to reduce the number of Muslims involved in the criminal justice system.”

Partnerships like this allow us to strengthen community connections, support rehabilitation and reintegration, and create meaningful opportunities for those affected by the justice system.
