Why is IRES important to you that you are investing your time and resources in it?
The Islamic Restoration Society is important to me because I believe everyone deserves dignity, belonging, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives. I’m particularly drawn to supporting people coming out of prison, because meaningful reintegration requires connection, community, and opportunity. I’m honoured to bring my experience in conflict, governance and community building to this work.
