Biography:
I was born in Turkey in 1999. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Gastronomy and Culinary Arts from Necmettin Erbakan University in Konya. After graduation, I worked as a sushi chef for a period of time.
In December 2022, I moved to Canada, and in August 2023, I got married. Currently, I balance my time as a part-time student and part-time sushi chef. This year, I had the privilege of joining IRES, where I volunteer with a wonderful team that I truly enjoy working with.

Why is IRES important to you that you are investing your time and resources in it?
IRES represents the kind of community and values I deeply resonate with. Investing my time and energy here means contributing to something greater than myself—building bridges, supporting others, and creating positive change. It’s a place where I can develop my skills while also continuing to learn and grow as part of a diverse and passionate team.
Hobbies:
I enjoy hiking in nature, exercising, reading books, having deep conversations with friends, exploring new places, listening to music, watching movies and TV series, and experimenting with phytotherapy and aromatherapy practices.
