🌿 Gratitude Visit to Cam Stewart 🌿

We had the pleasure of visiting Cam Stewart to collect his generous donation to IRES from the sales of his book Live to Die during the recent Culturally Informed Practices in Justice Work conference, organized by the Calgary John Howard Society.
Out of six participating organizations, Cam thoughtfully chose IRES as the recipient — a gesture that deeply reflects his commitment to restorative and community-focused work.
During our visit, we also had the opportunity to learn about the Alberta Civil Liberties Research Centre at the University of Calgary, which is launching a campaign to establish a scholarship in honour of their late Executive Director, Linda McKay-Panos, whose legacy continues to inspire justice and equality efforts across Alberta.
✨ We extend our heartfelt thanks to Cam for his generosity and support of IRES’s mission — empowering individuals and restoring communities.
